Web Merchandising sits within the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) organization and owns how customers discover and shop across Rejuvenation.com. We translate product and brand priorities into clear, high-performing on-site experiences. We work closely with Brand Marketing, Creative, Product Merchants, Inventory, and Site Operations to drive conversion and revenue across categories.
About the role
As Senior Manager, Website Merchandising, you own category site merchandising strategy and execution across Rejuvenation.com. You lead a team responsible for category shop experiences, on-site storytelling placement, launch readiness, and continuous optimization. This role blends customer-first merchandising instincts with analytical rigor and strong cross-functional leadership to deliver measurable performance.
Responsibilities
1) Category strategy & planning
Build annual and seasonal category site merchandising plans aligned to growth targets, marketing moments, and inventory realities.
Define key shopping journeys by customer segment and project need (e.g., renovation, room-based, style-based).
Set priorities and align cross-functional partners on the category roadmap.
2) On-site merchandising & storytelling execution
Own the category shop experience: layout, product ordering logic, content modules, and discoverability.
Partner with Brand Marketing and Creative to execute category stories with clear placement, timing, and messaging across the site.
Ensure on-site experiences are consistent with brand standards and support adjacent channels (stores, trade, brand marketing).
3) Performance, reporting & optimization
Establish a performance rhythm (weekly/monthly/quarterly) to review sales, traffic, and customer behavior.
Use analytics to identify opportunities and turn insights into clear actions (tests, page refreshes, prioritization changes).
Partner with Site Operations and cross-functional teams to improve onsite effectiveness (navigation, browse, search, content quality).
4) Launch readiness & site standards
Own on-site launch readiness for supported categories: taxonomy, imagery/content readiness, shop placement, and QA.
Partner with Inventory and Operations to align storytelling and product exposure to available inventory.
Set and enforce standards for category content, visual merchandising, and shop maintenance.
5) Cross-functional leadership
Lead working sessions with Product Merchants, Brand Marketing, Creative, Inventory, and Site Operations to drive decisions and remove blockers.
Influence tradeoffs between storytelling, product priorities, and operational constraints.
Communicate strategy and performance clearly to senior stakeholders.
6) People leadership
Manage and develop a growing team; set goals, clarify ownership, and build scalable processes.
Coach on merchandising fundamentals, analytical thinking, and execution quality.
Build ways of working that improve speed, consistency, and impact.
Required skills and qualifications
7+ years of eCommerce site merchandising experience (branded product required).
4+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching and performance management.
Strong analytical skills; ability to translate data into decisions and clear merchandising actions.
Experience with Adobe Analytics (preferred) or similar analytics platforms.
Experience with project management tools (Airtable, Jira).
Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills; able to influence and drive alignment.
Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines and multiple stakeholders.
High attention to detail and strong standards for on-site execution and QA.
Ability to present to senior leaders with clear narratives and recommendations.

This role is based onsite in our Portland, OR office.
