The Senior Maintenance Technician ensures the reliability and performance of fulfillment center equipment, mentors maintenance technicians and assistants, and helps drive continuous improvement in our maintenance practices.
Job Responsibilities:
Performs preventive maintenance tasks and complex mechanical repairs to automation equipment, robotics, and other fulfillment center equipment.
Uses Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to maintain distribution machinery and equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and good maintenance practices.
Mentors and develops other maintenance team members under the direction of management.
Maintains a safe work environment by documenting and correcting potential safety issues concerning material-handling equipment or distribution center facility.

Basic Qualifications Education & Experience:
At least 3 years of maintenance experience in a facility, United States Armed Forces, distribution, and/or manufacturing environment; OR
An Associate degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology with at least 1 year of maintenance experience in one of the above environments; OR
Completion of a recognized trade school program in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field with at least 1 year of maintenance experience in one of the above environments.
Technical Skills:
Prior experience with industrial electricity, including single-phase and three-phase power, motors, protective devices, and photo sensors.
Experience with electronics and automation systems, such as photo sensors, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), remote I/O modules, servo drives, variable frequency drives, and scanning systems.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely operate a manlift or ladder to access elevated areas for repairs.
Able to lift and carry parts and tools weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform tasks that may involve repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, and walking, with reasonable accommodation as required.
Preferred Qualifications IT skills, including:
Ability to query and analyze data using SQL.
Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and diagnostics.
Familiarity with PLC programming, configuration, and installation (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
