MUST be local to one of the following locations:

  • Sunnyvale, CA
  • Houston, TX
  • Or Denver, CO areas
  • Competitive W2 pay rate (DOE) + PERKS!

PROJECT SCOPE:

Looking for fulltime onsite however for the right skillset, I may be willing to consider a Hybrid schedule but would still be required to be local (no reimbursement for travel) and you may be require you to come in to the site as needed for client needs.

Must posses 9+ years of experience, we are NOT looking for junior or mid level, only senior level candidates

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:

*MSCS/BSCS, MSEE/BSEE of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

- Experience synthesizing and building designs based on Microchip and Xilinx/AMD FPGA targets:

o UltraScale Plus

o RT Polarfire

o Versal

o RTG4

- Experience with Libero, Vivado, and Synopsys Tools (Simulation, Lint/CDC, and Synthesis)

- Design experience using the following languages: Verilog, SystemVerilog, and VHDL

- Quick learner, someone who can get up to speed quickly with current designs

o Ability to quickly understand requirements documentation

- Experience with debugging designs both in the lab and in simulation environment

o Willingness to work with other teams to debug designs

- Experience with Space Wire

- Willingness to work on Circuitware document for milestone review prep (Requirements documentation, analysis, presentation materials)

- Experience using Python


* As an ASIC & FPGA DESIGN ENGINEER you will have the opportunity to support over 50 different programs and research and development (R&D) efforts. Your work will affect technology across military space, civil space, commercial space, missiles, missile defense platforms, satellite surveillance platforms, deep space exploration, and manned flight missions.


DAILY FUNCTIONS:

Work with low SWaP, radiation hardened, space rated devices.

Develop RTL/VHDL code, scripts, and other items required for the development ofFPGAs,complete design and development, and provide self-test designer level testbench. Collaborate with our engineering team to debug or simulate Circuitware with Xilinx development tools, deliver FPGA RTL source code changes, test data and documentation as needed. Work with systems engineers and design engineers to develop concept of operations, design requirements, and assist verification engineers in the verification of FPGA designs.
