This role is hybrid, 4 days per week in the office in Boca Raton, FL.

Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst role involves extracting and analyzing data across all business functions, ensuring ongoing connection between the model inputs/assumptions and our reported business results, and determining the appropriate allocations to drive a deeper understanding of economic value creation across customer segments, product lines, sales channels, risk profiles, etc. The Subscriber Economics & Credit team serves to provide business leaders with visibility into economic drivers of value across the lifecycle of our subscriber base. We aggregate data from disparate environments to construct Customer Lifetime Value models that underpin all facets of the business: customer acquisition, recurring revenue streams, costs for ongoing service, upgrades/changes in the services provided, the expected lifetime of the customer, etc. These models form the basis for financial analysis and evaluation of a wide array of business decisions, both tactical and strategic in nature.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and refine estimates for allocations of cost and revenue and attrition across meaningful dimensions, including but not limited to lines of business, customer segments, risk profiles, products/solutions, and sales channels.
  • Establish and document a repeatable method for ensuring models are refreshed to reflect changes in the business.
  • Help the finance teams who support various functions across the enterprise standardize the discounted cashflow model framework that is most appropriate for the decision at hand.
  • Deliver subscriber economics model on a quarterly cadence complete with insights, variances, and trends.
  • Develop standard cashflow model templates designed to assist with ad hoc modeling.

  • High proficiency with discounted cashflow modeling.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills that focus on effective persuasion.
  • Natural comfort with numbers and a strong quantitative mindset.
  • Ability to connect the dots and understand the second/third order effects.
  • Ability to see the big picture, make thoughtful tradeoffs, and focus on what matters.
  • Effectively break down complex data and analysis for non-technical audience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of related experience in an analytical role; 5+ years preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in finance, analytics, or accounting.
  • Proficiency with Smart View/Essbase.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office – advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in a subscription business preferred.
