How you will make an impact:

As a member of the Laboratory Equipment Division (LED) Finance team, the Sr. Financial Analyst will play a key role partnering with the Growth, Protection and Separation (GPS) business to drive profitable growth. The scope of responsibilities includes: cross-functional collaboration to establish and achieve quarterly and annual performance targets, building and communicating financial models/scorecards/reports, and providing impactful insights that support our leaders on strategic business decisions.

What you will do:
  • Support/lead reviews of weekly, monthly, and quarterly results with GPS business team leaders, providing insights on financial performance and forecast recommendations.
  • Collaborate with sites, regional, and divisional finance teams to understand and explain P&L results
  • Execute monthly financial close activities, ensuring integrity and accuracy of transactions, while providing meaningful analysis of variance drivers
  • Develop and implement financial reporting mechanisms for both individual and consolidated segments, including full P&L reporting, price/margin analytics, and forecasting to help drive margin expansion.
  • Support monthly forecasting and SIOP process, collaborate closely with business functions (Product Management, Commercial, Supply Chain) to help develop forecasts, provide data and analysis, and challenge inputs.
  • Support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Plan (STRAP) activities, working across business functions (R&D, regional Commercial teams, and Operations) to drive alignment on financial targets.
  • Support scenario analysis for strategic investments and initiatives, including new product development, capital, headcount, etc.
  • Develop dashboards and critical metric tools to analyze results, supporting decision-making and tracking against investment return commitments.
  • Proactively learn and adopt new systems and tools (including AI) to improve analytics capability and accuracy

How you will get here:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business related field

Experience

  • 3+ years relevant experience in finance
  • Prior experience in a large global company and highly matrixed organization

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Working knowledge of GAAP and ability to perform financial statement analysis
  • Proficient user of systems (i.e. CMR, Hyperion Planning, Power BI, Cognos, Salesforce, excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to summarize and present information in a concise and effective manner
  • Attention to detail and consistently delivering high quality work. Ability to learn quickly, meet deadlines and multi-task in deadline driven environment
  • Good understanding of business processes and operations & financial controls, able to identify control weaknesses in existing process and recommend mitigation actions
