Compensation:

$120,000 to $140,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law.


MUST HAVES:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial operations, fund administration or business operation roles (preferably with exposure to residential mortgage loans)
  • Experience managing and mentoring junior staff
  • Track record of implementing technology-driven solutions (via AI, OCR, or RPA) to improve data accuracy and team efficiency
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and the ability to design "audit-ready" processes
  • Proficient in Excel (consolidating data, VLOOKUPS, Pivot tables, etc.)
  • Experience with ERP systems (workday, NetSuites, or similar)
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or related field

DAY TO DAY:

We are seeking a Senior Finance Operations Manager to lead financial operations and reporting in their Miami office. This individual will oversee the end-to-end loan remittance and reconciliation process for residential mortgage portfolios while driving process improvement and departmental growth. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong operational controls experience and a proven ability to leverage technology and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce manual bottlenecks.

This role includes leading and mentoring the operations team to ensure accurate, timely deliverables, overseeing complex servicer remittance reviews and reconciliations, and implementing AI-driven solutions to streamline workflows. The Senior Manager will collaborate on developing standardized operating procedures, partner with senior leadership and external servicers to resolve operational matters, and serve as a key liaison to vendors and head office.

Additionally, the position oversees deal expense allocations, ensures Workday Financial records are accurate, and delivers clear, actionable reporting. Responsibilities also include reviewing management accounts, analyzing performance trends, and supporting budgeting and financial forecasting to inform strategic decision-making.
