Senior Equipment Engineer

Kelly Engineering is seeking a Senior Equipment Engineer to own and optimize semiconductor equipment performance in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on engineering role, not a desk job.

What You’ll Do:

• Own performance, uptime, and reliability of assigned tools
• Lead tool installs, upgrades, and qualifications
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues (etch/vacuum systems)
• Analyze tool data and drive yield improvements
• Manage spare parts and vendor support
• Develop maintenance procedures and train technicians
• Partner with process and maintenance teams

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of relevant experience as a tool owner or equipment engineer
• Semiconductor fab experience (REQUIRED)
• Strong troubleshooting of vacuum / etch systems
• Hands-on mindset (not just design)
• Experience with vendors or field service (Lam, AMAT, etc. is a plus)
• Strong communication and problem-solving

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• Flexible start times
• Must attend daily morning meeting (~8:30 AM)
• Occasional off-hours support as needed
