Job Summary and Responsibilities

*** Epic Professional Billing certification and/or experience required.***

As an IT EPIC Sr. Application Analyst, you will lead the design, build, implementation, and advanced support of our EPIC EHR system, acting as a subject matter expert.

Every day you will lead complex requirement analysis, architect and configure intricate EPIC modules, develop advanced solutions, perform comprehensive testing, and mentor junior analysts.

To be successful, you will possess extensive EPIC module expertise, advanced analytical skills, and a proven ability to lead projects and drive strategic improvements.

  • Designs, builds, tests, implements, and supports information technology solutions to meet operational and clinical needs.
  • Also, provides consultation for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
  • Understands system options and configurations completely and can suggest and lead teams through decisions on the best way to configure and utilize the system.
  • Analyzes, designs, and makes recommendations to improve existing systems and/or methods, and provide written, detailed reports.
  • Creates thorough system design and build documentation.
  • Collaborates with other analysts, staff, vendors, and leadership.
Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelors Other in related field or 4 years of equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree, upon hire.
  • Epic Professional Billing certification and/or experience required.
  • 3 years working with systems analysis programming/design required.
  • 5 years of additional relevant experience: application support, implementation required.
  • Development experience with applications in a hospital or medical related industry required.
  • EPIC Certification, within 120 Days required.
