About the Role:
As a CBRE Health, Safety and Environment Sr. Analyst, you will assist in the management of Environmental, Health, and Safety programs relative to a large market area.
This is a fully onsite role Monday-Friday in Cambridge, MA and might require travel to other local sites within the Cambridge area.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage HSE programs and initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and needs of client accounts
- Monitor adherence to OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, and other relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Oversee process for monitoring injury, illness, and incident-related performance within the assigned account and market area
- Leading investigations into accidents, near-misses, and injuries, preparing detailed root cause reports and designing CAPA.
- Perform site risk assessments and job safety analysis.
- Conduct safety meetings to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Perform safety inspections and audits.
- Review data and provide guidance on performance, compliance, concerns, and improvement to account management and market area
- Execute plans, playbooks, and procedures for the assigned account or market area
- Deliver health and safety training programs, including new hire safety orientation
- Act as a resource to staff and internal customers as the subject matter expert
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Guide team through application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures. Work to build consensus
- Establish work schedules and assign work to staff members
- Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
- Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations
- Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Certification in one of the following is preferred: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM), or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST).
- Understanding existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
- Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Ability to calculate figures such as percentages, fractions, and other related calculations
- Experience applying AI tools to improve efficiency (document drafting, data summarization, automated checks)
- Able to translate information into concise meeting slides and visual summaries

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training and experience. The compensation is about $120,000 annual base salary depending on experience. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience.
