Sr. DevOps Engineer – Storage Platform

Overview -

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. DevOps Engineer – Storage Platform to design, automate, and operate large-scale Software Defined Storage (SDS) and Kubernetes platforms within a private cloud environment.

This role requires deep expertise in storage engineering, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and GitOps practices, ensuring scalable, resilient, and high-performance infrastructure for mission-critical applications.

Required Skills

• experience with Kubernetes and Linux environments
• Strong experience with SDS (Ceph, Longhorn)
• Expertise in block, file, and object storage
• Experience with Fibre Channel (Cisco MDS), iSCSI, NVMe-oF
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible
• Backup solutions experience (Rubrik preferred)
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash)
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, and GitOps workflows
• Hands-on with OpenStack / KVM hypervisors
• Experience supporting 24x7 production environments
• Strong communication and documentation skills

• OpenStack Cinder multi-backend experience
• CIS / NIST security knowledge
• ITIL Certification
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA / CKS)
• Ceph certification (EX125)
• Experience in Telco / Edge / Large Enterprise environments
