The Senior Developer is responsible for the design and development of training & knowledge management solutions that support the goals of the Service Operations and Logistics strategic plan. In this role, you will develop engaging curricula and materials aligned with CarMax’s Learning standards and lead the integration of this material into the Service Operations & Logistics training strategy and initiatives. You will serve as an expert instructional design consultant, partnering with business partners to develop and deploy training programs that provide measurable impact for our field associates and leaders.

Purpose of the role
As a Senior Developer, you play a critical role in developing our associates by designing and implementing engaging training materials and courses that strengthen their knowledge and performance. In this role, you will directly support the development and deployment of the department’s talent management strategy through specific training programs that support our overall business goals. This position is fast-paced and collaborative and requires prioritizing multiple short-term and long-term projects while providing exceptional customer service to business partners and teammates.
Qualifications and Requirements
Work Location and Arrangement: This role will be based out of the CarMax Home Office in Richmond, VA and Associates will work onsite 5 days per week.
