Sr. Data Support Analyst –Wealth Management

As a Senior Data Support Analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining the quality, integrity, and reliability of data across Wealth Management platforms. This role focuses on advanced data transmission oversight, issue investigation, and cross‑system reconciliation, while serving as a trusted partner to technology, business, and vendor teams. You will own complex data issues end‑to‑end, contribute to governance standards, and help improve processes that support secure, accurate, and timely data delivery across the wealth ecosystem.

This role requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to operate independently in a fast‑moving, highly regulated environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, investigate, and resolve complex data quality and data transmission issues across Wealth Management systems.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned wealth applications and data feeds, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity across platforms.
  • Lead reconciliation analysis and root cause investigations for data discrepancies, incidents, and alerts.
  • Document data flows, feed specifications, transmission schedules, dependencies, and known issues to support transparency, audits, and operational continuity.
  • Partner with Technology, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and external vendors to resolve issues, implement fixes, and prevent recurrence.
  • Support the onboarding and implementation of new data feeds, enhancements, or platform changes, including validation and post‑implementation monitoring.
  • Maintain clear records of incidents, root cause analysis, remediation plans, and follow‑ups.
  • Identify gaps or inefficiencies in data processes and controls; recommend and support improvements such as automation, enhanced reconciliation, or improved alerting.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively on issue status, trends, and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Contribute to data governance initiatives, standards, and control reviews, including audit and risk assessments.
  • Provide guidance or informal mentoring to junior analysts as needed. 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data, analytics, or data operations role.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Hands‑on experience with data quality controls, data transmissions, or data loading processes.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel; experience with Tableau, Power BI, Visio, or PowerPoint strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing incidents, investigations, and stakeholder communications.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data issues clearly.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Wealth Management, Securities, Investments, or Financial Services.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with data architecture, data stewardship, or database concepts.
  • Experience working with APIs, ETL processes, file‑based feeds (FTP/SFTP), or vendor integrations.
  • Prior experience supporting audits, risk reviews, or control assessments.
  • Exposure to agile or continuous improvement practices.
  • Demonstrated past job stability.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Advanced degree is a plus.

 

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40

  • Work Schedule: M-F  8-5 PM ET ;  4 days in the office/ potential for 1 day work from home
