Job Title: Sr Advanced Test Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85027 (Onsite)
Employment Type: W2 Contract – 9 Months with possible extensions
Pay Rate: $60.00 – $65.00/hour (determined by experience, paid weekly)

Role Overview:
BEPC is seeking an experienced Sr Advanced Test Engineer to support a high-visibility aerospace project in Phoenix, AZ. This position focuses on DO-160 environmental qualification testing, EMI testing, and hardware verification and validation activities for advanced avionics systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting avionics qualification testing, regulatory compliance activities, and electronic hardware validation within aerospace or defense environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Environmental qualification testing
- EMI qualification testing
- Hardware verification and validation testing for avionics products
Perform testing activities in accordance with:
- DO-160
- MIL-STD-461
- MIL-STD-810
- Regulatory and customer requirements
- Prepare detailed technical reports and qualification documentation for regulatory compliance
- Support product certification activities for FAA and customer acceptance
- Identify, document, and communicate non-compliance incidents and testing anomalies
- Utilize computer-assisted engineering tools and laboratory test equipment during qualification activities
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for hardware and test failures
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product quality and testing processes
- Support development and sustainment of advanced avionics products for business aviation programs
- Ensure testing activities are completed according to schedule, quality, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in:
- Hardware engineering
- Product engineering
- Avionics qualification testing
Experience with:
- Environmental testing
- EMI testing
- Hardware verification testing
- Strong understanding of avionics product qualification standards
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with:
- DO-160
- MIL-STD-461
- MIL-STD-810
Experience with:
- Hardware verification and validation testing
- Optical testing and evaluation instrumentation
- Electronic display characterization
Knowledge of:
- Hardware engineering standards and specifications
- Electronic display principles
- Experience optimizing product, system, or process performance using engineering techniques
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Work Environment:
- Fully onsite role in Phoenix, AZ
