Sr. Accounting Manager

Swoon's largest financial industry client is actively seeking a Sr. Accounting Manager who can handle the entire life-cycle of share-based compensation and incentive compensation including preparing share-based compensation journal entries by compiling/reviewing various reports and analyzing account and transactional information.

Responsibilities:

• Handle expense recognition in accordance with plan terms and relevant accounting standards.
• Execute preparation of billing and settlement statements with affiliates for cash-settled share-based compensation transactions.
• Review applicable schedules to support periodic statutory and regulatory financial disclosures and footnotes to the audited financial statements.
• Complete quality assurance in the form of reconciliation review, continuity schedules, trend analysis, research issues, identify and recommend resolution and provide qualitative commentary for management reporting.
• Identify dataflow and procedural opportunities to optimize key accountabilities and controls by leveraging technology solutions such as Alteryx and Tableau.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA required
• Strong US GAAP accounting knowledge and experience; familiarity with US GAAP ASC 718 and IFRS 2.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience; strong exposure and understanding of consolidation and financial statement reporting; experience in a multi-national organization a plus.
