Senior Account Executive - Technical Staffing


GEE Group, Inc. is one of the largest staffing companies in the United States. Our niche brands provide direct hire, executive search, temporary staffing, contract consulting, and temp/contract-to-hire solutions to emerging growth companies and the Fortune 500. Our technical staffing organization comprises of 4 divisions. We have regional offices in Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Jacksonville, and presence in several other major markets.


This is a challenging but highly rewarding opportunity. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategic sales plans. As a Senior Account Executive, you will leverage your deep understanding of the technology industry to cultivate relationships with key decision-makers. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identifying and qualifying new business prospects through cold calling, networking, industry events, and targeted outreach.
  • This is 100% business development role along with account management for newly acquired clients.
  • Conducting presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our solutions and their value proposition.
  • Negotiating contracts and closing deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior sales team members (where applicable).

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in B2B sales within the technical staffing industry.
  • Hunter mindset. This role is 100% business development
  • Demonstrable track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and building strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of the technology industry and market trends.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior sales staff is a plus.
