Position Overview:
The Illinois State Police (ISP) are searching to fill the Deputy Statewide 9‑1‑1 Administrator position. This position supports the effective operation and advancement of Next Generation 9‑1‑1 across Illinois and works closely with the Statewide 9‑1‑1 Administrator and PSAP System Managers to ensure consistent training, operational alignment, and compliance statewide. The position serves as the statewide coordinator for Telecommunicator and Telecommunicator Supervisor training and certification, manages the Statewide 9‑1‑1 Grant Program, and conducts PSAP compliance reviews. As a subject matter expert in the Emergency Telephone System Act (ETSA) and Administrative Rules, the Deputy Administrator provides guidance, oversight, and supervision to assigned staff and participates in 9‑1‑1 Advisory Board activities as needed.
