Insight Global is seeking a Sponsored Program Administrator to support a hospital system in South Jersey. The Sponsored Projects Administrator is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of sponsored projects, providing comprehensive support from proposal development and submission (pre-award) through award set-up, reporting, and closeout (post-award).

This role partners closely with principal investigators (PIs), department leadership, program staff, compliance, legal, and grants accounting to ensure regulatory compliance, financial accuracy, and effective oversight of all sponsored projects. The position also supports data analysis and reporting related to the proposal and awards portfolio.

Key responsibilities include identifying funding opportunities and interpreting sponsor guidelines; supporting proposal development through budget preparation, compliance review, and submission; and coordinating internal approvals in alignment with institutional and sponsor requirements.

The Sponsored Projects Administrator facilitates award acceptance and set-up in collaboration with grants accounting and compliance teams, monitors budgets, expenditures, and cost-sharing commitments, and prepares and submits required financial and progress reports. Additional responsibilities include managing award modifications such as no-cost extensions and budget revisions, overseeing award closeout and audit documentation, maintaining accurate proposal and award records, and developing reports and dashboards to track funding trends and performance metrics.



Must‑Haves:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Public Administration or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in sponsored project administration
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and foundation funding regulations
  • Proficiency in grants management
  • Experienced with NIH (National Institutes of Health) funded research grants
  • Microsoft Excel

  • CRA Certification preferred (candidates without active CRA must obtain certification within 2 years of their employment start date)
