Phaxis Education is seeking a motivated and compassionate SLPA to support students in a structured and positive school environment.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school team. In this role, you’ll work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to support students with communication needs and help them succeed both academically and socially.

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under SLP supervision
• Implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Assist with documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication skills
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
• Help create a positive, engaging learning environment for students

What You Need

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Active SLPA license/certification in CA
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
