Responsibilities

Mayo Clinic in Rochester is seeking a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our nationally recognized team.Our pediatric team provides speech and language services in various multi-disciplinary clinics as well as individual evaluation and therapy services for a wide variety of patient populations. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the SLP will contribute to patient-centered care through evidence-based assessment and intervention in alignment with Mayo Clinic’s high standards of excellence.

Department-Specific Responsibilities and Skills

• Administering pediatric speech and language assessments.
• Differential diagnosis of a variety of childhood communication disorders.
• Evaluating and treating children with neurologic and neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Evaluation and treatment of severe speech sound disorders including childhood apraxia of speech.
• Work collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams.

• Compassionate, team-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master of Science (MS) or Master of Art (MA) degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
• Licensed by the State of Minnesota Department of Health in Speech-Language Pathology

Experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended: $75,920 - $113,921
