Supplemental Health Care has partnered with a school district in Ellicott City, MD to staff several full time Speech Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) and Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF).


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC and SLP-CF) to provide services to K–12 students in a supportive and collaborative school environment. As an integral part of our educational team, you will deliver teletherapy services, conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and work closely with educators and families to support student success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments to identify communication disorders and determine eligibility for special education services.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals in accordance with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students individually and in group settings.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop appropriate educational programming.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluation reports, progress notes, treatment plans, and Medicaid billing documentation (if applicable).
  • Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies based on data and outcomes.
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, support staff, and families regarding communication needs and strategies to support student success.
  • Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and assistive technology when appropriate.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and district regulations related to special education and speech-language services.


Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or Clinical Fellow (CF) eligibility.
