Overview

ROLE AT A GLANCE:

The Specialist, Grants and Partnerships will play a meaningful role in advancing the mission of the Foundation by managing the full grant lifecycle and strengthening partnerships that expand community impact. This position will lead the Foundation’s Casa Herbalife grant program, cultivating and managing nonprofit partnerships that support children and families around the world. This role is responsible for grantmaking strategy implementation, relationship management with nonprofit partners, and ensuring effective stewardship, compliance and impact reporting across all Foundation grants.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and collaborative, capable of managing complex grant processes while building positive relationships with partners that align with the Foundation’s mission.

Reporting to the Director of Social Impact, this role requires the ability to lead with innovation, agility, partnership management, and accountability.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

•Grantmaking and Program ManagementoManage the full grant lifecycle, including application review, due diligence, grant approvals, contracting, payment processing, reporting and evaluation.oOversee the Foundation’s Casa Herbalife program, including partner selection, connecting directly with Distributors on program opportunities, grant oversight, and ongoing program evaluation.oMonitor grantee performance and ensure compliance with grant agreements and reporting requirements.oDevelop and manage grant timelines, documentation and internal processes to ensure efficiency and transparency.oPrepare grant summaries, impact reports, and presentations for leadership.

•Partnerships and Relationship ManagementoBuild and maintain strong relationships with nonprofit partners and community organizations.oIdentify and evaluate potential new partnerships aligned with the Foundation’s strategic priorities.oServe as the primary point of contact for the Casa Herbalife program partners.oFacilitate communication between nonprofit partners, internal and external stakeholders.oSupport collaborative initiatives that expand the Foundation’s reach and impact.

•Strategic and ImpactoSupport the implementation of the Foundation’s grantmaking strategy and program priorities.oTrack and measure the impact of grants and partnerships through data collection, reporting, storytelling and narratives.oIdentify opportunities to strengthen program effectiveness and scale impact.oContribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement of grantmaking processes.

•Operations and AdministrationoMaintain accurate records in the Foundation’s grants management system.oEnsure compliance with Foundation policies and legal requirements related to charitable giving.oSupport grant budgets, payment tracking and financial reconciliation with internal teams.oAssist with internal and external communications related to grantmaking and partnerships.•Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:

Education•Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or nonprofit management preferred.

Experience•5 years of experience in grantmaking or nonprofit management

Skills/Certifications•Experience managing the full grant lifecycle and working with nonprofit partners•Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail•Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, be organized, multi-task oriented•Strong preference for experience with Blackbaud GrantsConnect•Passion for community impact, philanthropy, and mission-driven work.
