  • The United States Space Force (USSF) National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is searching for a Space MASINT Analysis and Production Team Lead (GG-0132-13). Description: The 4th Intelligence Analysis Squadron at NSIC is seeking a highly skilled analyst or engineer to provide integrated intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities. This role is pivotal in collecting, processing, exploiting, and disseminating accurate and timely information to support space Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT) mission objectives for Space Domain Awareness (SDA). The selected individual will direct and manage the analysis and production of Space MASINT, ensuring alignment with all requirements and NSIC mission goals. This position also involves upholding compliance with ICD 203 and NSIC analysis production standards. Furthermore, the member will serve as the subject-matter expert for the MASINT introductory and intermediate training program, guiding the development of junior intelligence specialists and establishing standards for quality assurance and technical accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or an equivalent level of professional experience, coupled with 5-7 years of space MASINT experience. This should include a background in integrating both legacy and evolving modernized software applications to provide foundational analysis and production of MASINT data sources for Space Domain Awareness customers. A minimum of five years of experience in space MASINT analysis and reporting on spacecraft health and status is required, along with a robust understanding of radar, electro-optical, multi-spectral, and hyper-spectral phenomena. The candidate must also have experience in MASINT data exploitation, enabling change detection methodology, pattern of life analysis, and indication & warning applications, as this position is responsible for producing critical assessments for senior leaders and national decision-makers. Key Skills and Abilities: 1. Knowledge of the full range of intelligence research, processing, and exploitation methods, techniques, and practices using multi-source intelligence information to capture and report intelligence information in a usable form that directly or indirectly affects national security; interprets policy and commits resources impacting intelligence capabilities. 2. Knowledge of advanced USAF and national ISR processing and exploitation, PED capabilities, systems, and multi-source intelligence production policies to process and exploit complex information/situations attained from multiple sources. 3. Knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations, mission/functions, inter relationships, and operations. 4. Skill in conducting unbiased complex research, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources, and producing processing and exploitation requirement assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage agency capabilities in support of consumers, customers, and clients. 5. Skill in communicating effectively with others both orally and in writing, in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work, writing clear and concise intelligence products, and delivering written and/or verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision-making purposes. 6. Ability to maintain control of classified material, quickly assimilate disparate data, render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and pressure based on mature judgment and experience and present and/or defend a position effectively.
