Located on 40 acres of lush tropical gardens, this Forbes 4-Star, AAA 4-Diamond property is consistently ranked among the world's best resorts with 780 rooms, 100,000 square feet of banquet space, and 7 food and beverage outlets. This includes 3 restaurants, 3 bars, a cafe, and in-room dining.

  • Classification: Full-Time
  • Shift: Various – must have availability to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays.
  • Pay Rate: The hourly rate is $27.34 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

What Will I Be Doing?

Create a memorable, luxury experience for our guests while shopping in spa retail areas to achieve revenue goals and other KPIs/financial goals. Ensure accurate and on-budget inventory, ordering, receiving, and stocking of all spa retail and professional products.

75% of Essential Functions:

Receiving: Ensure timely pick-up of spa deliveries. Assist Spa Expeditor with physical count of stock upon arrival. Check and balance physical count to invoice. Communicate any discrepancies to Purchasing and Finance.

Inventory: Complete monthly professional and retail product inventory (psychical count). Ensure adequate PAR levels at all times. Follow proper professional and retail product requisition channels, ensuring each requisition is tracked and necessary changes are made in Abbicus.

Purchasing: Analyze selling reports to determine sales trends. Complete monthly purchase orders for professional and retail product before the end of the month. Ensure purchase orders are approved in timely manner and follow-up as needed. Complete spa checkbook, ensuring all purchases are in line with budget.

Vendor Communication: Act as liaison between spa and vendors. Set-up new vendors as determined by Spa Management, communicate changes (price, products) to Spa Management, and update Abbicus accordingly.

Finance: Ensure spa checkbook is balanced at all times and in line with budget. Work closely with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate and on time vendor payments. Handle all accounting discrepancies. Produce accounting reports for the Spa management

Merchandising: Maintain presentation standards in the retail areas by being personally active in executing, motivating, and mentoring team members to uphold:

a. Product presentation standards

b. Visual displays and merchandising

c. Checking in merchandise, organizing and pulling, tagging, and delivering stock

d. Ensuring all cleaning duties are assigned and completed

Training: Collaborate with Spa Management on sales initiatives and contests to increase revenue, events, team member issues, and personal development Achieve personal sales goals and motivate, encourage, and mentor team members to do the same

a. Training of Team Members on Waldorf Astoria luxury service standards, product knowledge, merchandising standards, selling techniques, POS system, and operational procedures

b. Steps of Service training and mentoring in the moment

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

· Act as Leader on Duty in the absence of a leader and/or for personal development.

· Keep supplies stacked and ordered.

· Assist Front Desk Agents with check in and check outs.

· Assist Sales Associates with reservations.

· Assist in all areas of Spa Operation as requested by spa management.

· Cover meal breaks for all spa operating areas, as needed.

· Support administrative functions as needed.
