Sourcing Specialist

We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support large-scale capital and onsite services projects within a highly regulated nuclear energy environment.

This role is part of an established sourcing team and will be responsible for managing end-to-end sourcing activities, from intake through contract execution and supplier performance management.

This is a high-impact role offering exposure to complex, enterprise-level procurement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate sourcing requests from internal stakeholders
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for complex projects
• Lead sourcing events (RFPs, RFQs, competitive bids)
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms
• Perform supplier risk assessments and due diligence
• Manage purchase orders and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Oversee supplier performance and implement recovery plans as needed
• Maintain accurate contract records and documentation (life-of-plant retention)
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Construction Management, or related field
• Experience in strategic sourcing or procurement (not just logistics or transactional purchasing)
• Proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier management
• Experience supporting large, complex projects or capital initiatives
• Strong ability to manage workload independently and prioritize tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in regulated industries (energy, utilities, oil & gas, construction, etc.)
• Familiarity with nuclear or power generation environments
• SAP experience (strongly preferred)
• Experience with sourcing tools such as Coupa or similar platforms
• CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or equivalent certification
