Overview
The Supply Chain Planner supports supply forecasting and execution to meet sales channel demand.
This role partners cross-functionally with internal teams such as demand planning, allocation planning, and procurement to ensure supply availability, data accuracy, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support supply planning activities aligned with business goals and demand forecasts
- Analyze and manage purchase orders to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and vendor accountability
- Monitor supply chain performance metrics (e.g., weeks of supply, on-time delivery)
- Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, allocation, channel partners) to resolve supply issues
- Maintain data integrity across MRP and ERP systems
- Identify risks to supply availability and recommend solutions
- Lead or participate in cross-functional meetings and provide status updates
- Generate and maintain regular KPI and supply reports
- Resolve PO and shipment-related issues in coordination with logistics teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of supply chain experience, preferably in supply planning or procurement
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and systems
- Experience working with MRP and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Advanced Excel skills (including macros/VBA preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Technical Skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
- Experience with MRP systems (e.g., o9, SAP)
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Day-to-Day Activities
- Review supply plans and adjust purchase orders as needed
- Partner with stakeholders to address supply gaps or excess
- Track and report on supply chain KPIs
- Communicate supply risks and mitigation plans
- Participate in meetings and manage ongoing supply issues
