Sourcing and Production Associate Manager - Licensed Apparel

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the relationship with vendors and mills.
  • Works with the Director of Sourcing
  • Develops fabric and production capacity reservations and liabilities ensuring the consumption or resolution of outstanding liabilities to minimize financial exposure.
  • Develops and executes the development and communication of seasonal time and action calendars for the business and ensures teams are in compliance to required dates.
  • Negotiates the best costs without compromising the brand’s quality or on-time deliveries.
  • Daily communications direct with factories. Communicate with design team to ensure final product comes out correctly
  • Follow up on time and action calendars
  • Experience with domestic mills, blank suppliers and screen printing required
  • Update WIP reports daily and track of all submits
  • Log all packages
  • Review Carton marking, upc’s, etc.
  • Review PP’s/TOP samples with design team
  • Negotiates the best costs without compromising the product quality or on-time deliveries.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years of experience in apparel production
  • Organized self-starter
  • Exceptional follow-up skills
  • Very detail-oriented, flexible, able to multi-task
  • Spanish language is a plus
  • Experience with garment construction, production timelines and garment testing
  • Proficient in MS Office and MS Excel
