Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist – RDMS Registered

Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373

Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5 days/week)

Duration: 3+ months (possible extension based on performance)

Pay Rate: $67/hour

Traveler Rate: $2,709/week ($77.40/hour)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS Registered) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in general ultrasound and be comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general diagnostic ultrasound procedures
• Ensure high-quality imaging and patient care
• Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare staff
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Requirements:

• Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by ARDMS (required)
• Minimum of 1 year of general registered ultrasound experience
• Acute care setting experience required
• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program (including military training)

Preferred Qualifications:

• BLS Certification

Schedule & Additional Details:

• Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Schedule: 5 days per week
• Alternating weekends required
• Holidays required
• Training: 2 weeks (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM), including EPIC system training
• Interview Process: In-person only (no virtual interviews)
