Day ShiftDescription:Position Purpose:
Supervisor position encompasses all of the job responsibilities of the Cardiac Sonographer or Vascular Technologist position. In addition, the Supervisor performs a variety of technical and non-technical tasks requiring independent judgment and initiative. Organizes and delegates the daily workload (or assigns a designee). Oversees initial and ongoing training for cardiovascular sonographers.
What You Will Do:
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Associates or Bachelors degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred.
Licensure / Certification: Registered by the:
· 1. ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) as
· a. RVT (Registered Vascular Sonographer) or
· b. RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer)
OR
· 2. CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) as
· a. RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) or
· b. RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist)
Experience: Minimum five (5) years cardiovascular experience preferred.
Leadership qualities and human relations skills necessary to work with patient, staff, managers and physicians.
BLS certified
