They work with large enterprise organizations to improve decision-making, streamline operations, and develop AI-enabled products at scale.

Position Summary

The Solution Sales Consultant will play a key role in aligning client business needs with AI and data-driven solutions. This is a consultative sales position that goes beyond traditional quota-carrying responsibilities, requiring strong discovery skills, technical interest, and a collaborative approach to solution development.

This role partners closely with internal engineering, data science, and product teams to develop and close complex transformation engagements.

Core Responsibilities

1. Advisory & Solution-Oriented Selling

  • Build relationships with senior decision-makers (CIO, CTO, CDO, VP-level and above) to uncover strategic AI and data initiatives
  • Convert business needs into practical solutions leveraging AI/ML, generative AI, and data infrastructure
  • Facilitate discovery conversations, working sessions, and value definition exercises

2. Pipeline Ownership & Deal Delivery

  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from opportunity creation through final contract execution
  • Develop and deliver business cases, ROI justifications, and transformation strategies
  • Lead large, complex enterprise deals, including high-value engagements

3. Technical Understanding & Collaboration

  • Build working knowledge across:
  • AI/ML and generative AI applications
  • Data architecture and cloud-based environments
  • Deployment and scaling of AI-driven products
  • Work alongside technical teams to design and refine client-specific solutions

4. Client Engagement & Growth

  • Maintain a trusted advisor relationship throughout the engagement lifecycle
  • Ensure solutions are tied directly to measurable business impact
  • Identify and support follow-on opportunities based on delivered results

5. Industry Insight & Representation

  • Monitor developments in AI, market trends, and competitive positioning
  • Contribute to thought leadership, proposals, and tailored industry messaging
  • Participate in client-facing discussions, events, and executive-level presentations

Basic Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, consulting, or technology solution selling
  • Demonstrated success closing complex, high-value deals ($1M+)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

Background selling:

  • AI/ML, analytics, or data-related solutions
  • OR SaaS, cloud, or digital transformation offerings
  • Comfortable engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence executive audiences

Preferred Background

  • Prior experience with AI-centric firms
  • Advanced degree (MBA or similar) is a plus
  • Exposure to generative AI tools and ecosystems (LLMs, copilots, AI agents)
  • Experience in consulting or solution design environments
  • Domain expertise in industries such as Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, or Manufacturing

  • Establishes credibility and trust with executive stakeholders
  • Consistently delivers and grows large-scale transformation engagements
  • Supports clients in progressing from pilot initiatives to enterprise-wide AI adoption


Base compensation target is 140,000-180,000 annually
