This is a hands-on development role on a fast-paced Agile team. The File Translation Utility (1FTU) team is part of Payments, Treasury Management & Customer Care Technology (PTCT). This team provides complex data transformation and application integration solutions across multiple Treasury Management products for Commercial customers. 

This position will be the primary liaison between WF India developers and US-based resources and partners for one distributed application supporting multiple Treasury Management products for Commercial customers. Schedule flexibility will be required to support meetings and coordination to bridge between the time zone differences.

* Leads customer implementations and/or projects and as an escalation point, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of highly complex technical problems. 
* Creates, designs and authors technical specifications for both Informatica Data Transformation services and the related infrastructure in SAG webMethods Integration Server including data mapping, process flows, technical procedures, and user manuals as needed. 
* Builds trading partner profiles (maps) for projects and complex customer implementations in Informatica Data Transformation. 
* Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs using Agile development practices. 
* Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domain
* Experience with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) project methodology – working projects from inception to go-live.
* Conducts production deployment preparation, install support, and post-install validation and monitoring. 
* Able to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously between multiple projects.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems and has worked with distributed environments and coded in Java. They have experience with both Informatica Data Transformation (DT) and with webMethods Integration Server. They have Financial Services industry experience and can easily adapt to changing priorities and processes.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience
  • 8+ years of Oracle experience
  • 7+ years of experience with data manipulation, cleansing, and transformation
  • 5+ years of Informatica experience
  • 5+ years of webMethods technology experience such as integration, messaging and BPM
  • 5+ years of Linux or Unix Server experience
  • 5+ years of scripting and automation experience
  • 3+ years of Java experience
  • 4+ years of technical documentation and publication experience
  • 7+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
  • 2+ years of Agile experience


Desired Qualifications

  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 2+ years of experience with version 9.x webMethods technology such as integration, messaging and BPM
  • 2+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Shell, VBScript, or JavaScript
  • Ability to manage complex data collection and analysis activities including conducting extensive source-to-target mapping exercises
  • Knowledge and understanding of conversions, system analysis, data mapping, conversion reconcilement, validation and implementations
  • Experience with version control or source code repositories to include: Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory or XMLSpy
  • Knowledge and understanding of payment product functionality, operational processes, and system processes
  • International or wholesale banking exposure; preferably within Wells Fargo
  • Experience successfully escalating complex issues and tracking follow-through to completion
  • Good communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • 1+ year of HP ALM experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of AppDynamics
  • System vulnerability detection and mitigation experience


Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in front end application development, operations and automation using React, Redux, AngularJS and Node
