Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: securities, quants, artificial intelligence, or machine learning
- A BS/BA degree or higher
- 5+ years of banking industry experience
- 5+ years of analytical experience
- 5+ years of cash or derivative products experience
- 5+ years of foreign exchange experience
- 5+ years of process definition and documentation experience
- 5+ years of process design or improvement experience
- 5+ years of product development and product management experience
- 4+ years of Agile experience
- 4+ years of JIRA experience
- 3 + years of experience with Agile tools
- 4+ years of MS SQL server experience
- 4+ years of SQL experience
- 4+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
Desired Qualifications
- A Masters degree or higher in computer science or finance
- A professional certification in technology
- Basic knowledge of industry regulations related to building technological solutions
- Experience with Agile methodology of project delivery
- 5+ years of release management experience
- Product knowledge in a combination of the following: (loans, debts, derivatives, securities, repurchase agreements, securities lending, commodities, cash equities trading, credit trading securities, etc.)
- Knowledge and understanding of Agile operational metrics such as: Velocity, Predictability, Sprint burn-downs, and etc.
- Experience moving teams and organizations from Waterfall to Agile methodologies and Agile Transformations
- Agile Scrum (CSM), SAFE certifications or other advanced Agile certifications
- A BS/BA degree or higher in Geography, GIS, Computer Science or related field
Other Desired Qualifications - Capital Markets and Investment banking experience with domain expertise in either Commodities, Credit, Interest Rates, Foreign Exchange or Equities line of business as a Scrum Master in Agile framework.
- Experience working with Front Office (traders/marketers), Middle Office, Market Risk, Quants, Credit Risk, Back Office business partners on trading applications.
- Ability to demonstrate an excellent track record of delivering quality software products by following iterative and agile SDLC
- Proven ability to be a highly motivated self-starter who solves problems with a business centric view.
- Trading Systems (e.g. Opics, Calypso, Broadridge) working experience.
- Design and testing of complex trading platforms such as FX trading, derivatives curve generation, volatility surfaces, back-to-back trade booking and FX, Interest Rates in house platform build out with complete understanding of scope and leveraging niche software technologies and build deploy tools
- Experience in new products implementation starting from analysis phase, assist in Unit testing, functional, systems, regression, DB testing, UAT testing, prod implementation, project management and post production implementation.
- Experience in workstream leading, anlaysis of application relationships, coordination of multi facet end to end integration of highly complex platforms
- Experience in successful implementation of complex regulatory, compliance and operations projects such as Swap Data Repository, eOne, IBOR/SOFR transition and/or OCC attestation efforts.
- Working experience with market risk and credit risk partners by testing coordination and post prod support, both in Business as Usual (BAU) as well as project (GPTM, FRTB, SIMM) efforts.
- Experience in training QA teams with functional, SIT and Regression testing by setting up for processes for automation and wrote user manuals and provided guidance on best practices
- Experience assisting FO, quants, MO and BO with setting up environments, running tests and Trade life cycle BAU needs
- Experience with project methodologies, release management and platform engineering processes that includes WDATT/SDLC creation and maintenance, PAC2000 Change Request creation, defining Jira workflows, utilizing udeploy/jenkins workflows.
- Subject matter expertise on Agile methodologies, Scrum/Kanban and having the responsibility of Scrum Master in high visibility projects and implementations of trading applications/platforms.
Salary InformationThe salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
