Software Engineer 4

Position Description

CTS International is hiring a Software Engineer 4 for an exciting contract opportunity in Pleasanton, CA. This is a strong opportunity for a senior software engineer who wants to work on secure computing solutions supporting commercial and aerospace applications.

In this role, you will join a high-performing integrated product team developing advanced hardware and software security solutions. You will help lead the design and development of mission-critical software for custom processor technologies, contributing to software architecture, interface design, integration, verification, and performance optimization. This is an ideal role for an engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, working across multidisciplinary teams, and delivering reliable, high-quality software in a cutting-edge environment.

Position Requirements

• Strong experience with C# and C++ software development and debugging
• Background in database integration, gRPC, and network interfaces
• Experience with software performance analysis
• Proficiency with source control and bug tracking systems
• Experience in an Agile environment is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience, in a relevant technical field.
