ResponsibilitiesThe dynamic Social Work Team in Eau Claire, Wisconsin is looking for a Social Work Director.
In the Social Work Director role, you will provide visionary leadership, strategic direction, and effective resource management for social workers across the continuum of care. Ensuring that social workers effectively address psychosocial issues and overcome barriers to deliver seamless patient care through comprehensive interventions such as ongoing assessments, counseling, referrals, and guidance, you will have a direct impact on the continuity of care from patient admission through discharge.

QualificationsTo be considered for this position, you must have a Master's degree in Social Work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) and a minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, demonstrating expertise in operational systems, process optimization, and care delivery across diverse environments.
Licensure
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) through the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the proven ability to lead through change and inspire teams toward shared goals.
- Demonstrated proficiency in change management, leadership, and operational execution, ensuring seamless integration of systems and processes.
- High level of professional integrity and creativity with expertise in systems thinking and team dynamics, outcomes management and continuous quality improvement, clinical data assessment and resource utilization analysis, risk management and the Joint Commission standards compliance.
- Strong commitment to the National Association of Social Workers' (NASW) Code of Ethics and adherence to the NASW Standards for Social Work Practice in Healthcare Settings.
