Job Title: Social Media Specialist

Reporting to: SE Senior Social Media Strategist

Location: Remote / Florida

Position Summary

This role reports directly to the SE Senior Social Media Strategist on the Digital Marketing team within the Marketing Department. We are searching for a highly motivated, fast‑moving, and creatively driven Video Content Specialist who can elevate the quality, storytelling, and energy of Trulieve’s social media presence.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on content creator who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys being in the field, and knows how to capture and produce high‑impact video and photo content. This includes filming at events, in-store activations, grow facilities, and other brand moments — then transforming that footage into engaging, trend‑driven edits optimized for each platform.

We’re looking for someone who understands the pulse of social media: emerging formats, trending audio, visual styles, and platform‑specific best practices. If you’re passionate about storytelling, visual creativity, fast‑paced production, and pushing content to the next level,. our team.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, produce, and edit visually stunning and innovative content for multiple social media platforms, ensuring it aligns with brand guidelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design and digital to develop content that effectively communicates key messages
• Plan, shoot and edit high-quality videos for use on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Podcasting, X and Facebook
• Stay updated on video trends and photography trends for emerging formats to keep content fresh and engaging
• Capture captivating videos and photos from events, store openings and in facilities that showcase our products, and brand personality.
• Work closely with influencers, brand ambassadors and partners to co-create compelling and authentic content.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Social Media Content Producer/Creator, preferably in a similar industry
• Proficient in video editing software, graphic design tools and photography equipment.
• Travel: 40-50% in field visits (Florida/Georgia)
• Flexibility of hours – nights and weekends
• Exceptional creativity and storytelling skills
• Organized, responsible and flexible in a fast-paced growth environment

Work Schedule:

• 40 hours weekly with flexible hours depending on business needs.
• Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays
