The Jimmy John's social team is looking for a dynamic Social Media Specialist to spearhead social� creative� across key social platforms.� We're� looking for a sandwich and pop-culture-obsessed team member passionate about the power of social media to elevate our brand through the most engaging channels in marketing. In partnership with the Social Media Manager, this role will bring the social media strategy to life through entertaining and engaging content. You will� be responsible for� day-to-day content creation� and calendar management,� marrying the brand's voice, tone and visual identity with native platform trends and features.�
*This position is an 80% onsite role typically Monday- Thursday
RESPONSIBILITIES�
Duties and Responsibilities�
Own and lead executing social content creation, including concepting, organizing assets, designing, shooting,� editing� and exporting assets to spec across all channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & TikTok, with the support of the Social� Media Manager and partner agencies� �
Champion, embody and protect the brand voice & tone for organic social, keeping our Sandwich Army at the core�
Proactively find creative solutions to� participate� in daily� and cultural� trends in real time� �
Ideate and provide creative points of view based on business priority or outside request�
Seek out potential opportunities to insert Jimmy� John's� into non-branded conversations� through Community Management�
� EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS�
Minimum: 4 yrs degree
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
Minimum: 3+ yrs related experience
Deep social� expertise� of social media best practices and brand etiquette� �
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.�
Ability to work independently, proactively� �
Unwavering attention to detail and cultural intuition� �
Knowledge of social platform analytics and defining success�
� REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE,� SKILLS� or ABILITIES
Has a portfolio and experience creating social media content for consumer brands, with a prioritization on QSR�
Lives and breathes social media, with a focus on Instagram and TikTok�
Understands the critical difference in an ad and an engaging organic social post� �
Can quickly absorb a brand's voice and tone and translate that to brand social creative� �
Doesn't� just laugh at memes, but knows how to interpret them and translate them for the brand�
Understands how to develop content that supports community-building� �
Stalks competitor and industry social channels to survey the competition� �
Is on top of� what's� trending and proactive in bringing� new ideas� to the table� �
Considers brand communications in the context of culture and is proactive in� identifying� issues or opportunities�
Is not afraid to be on camera!�
Is� proficient� in Adobe Creative Suite�
