OVERVIEWThe Pritzker Administration is seeking a Social Media Platform Manager who will be responsible for managing, publishing, and optimizing content across the Governor’s social media platforms. This role oversees day-to-day platform operations, ensuring content is timely, accurate, accessible, and aligned with the Governor’s communications strategy and public messaging goals.
The Social Media Platform Manager works closely with the digital, communications, and creative teams to plan, schedule, and distribute content, monitor performance, and engage with audiences as appropriate. This position requires strong judgment, attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to respond to real-time events, including evenings and weekends when needed.
