The Role
The Social Growth Manager is a critical member of the Marketing team and one of the most influential voices of our brands in the marketplace. This role is responsible for developing and executing a bold, growth-driven global social strategy that reflects the scale and ambition of Victrola’s expansion. This position will lead social media efforts across two complementary yet distinct brands, Victrola and KLH Audio, each with unique products, audiences, and brand voices. Success in this role requires the ability to thoughtfully differentiate strategy, tone, and content while maintaining a cohesive and elevated brand presence across all platforms. This role is highly executional and creative, requiring a hands-on approach to content creation, storytelling, and daily engagement. The Social Growth Manager plays a key role in scaling our social presence through aggressive follower growth, strategic partnerships, and collaborations, while embodying and amplifying our deep passion for music in every interaction. Additionally, this role may oversee and develop a social media internship program, helping to build and mentor emerging talent.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Own and execute a global, growth-focused social media strategy aligned with Victrola and KLH’s expansion goals.
- Manage and differentiate social strategy, voice, and execution across two distinct brands (Victrola and KLH Audio).
- Drive aggressive follower growth and engagement, leveraging partnerships, collaborations, and culturally relevant moments.
- Lead day-to-day management of all social platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube using a dynamic content calendar (daily/weekly/monthly).
- Create a high volume of original, platform-native content, while also adapting and repurposing assets from broader marketing channels (campaigns, email, web, etc.).
- Partner with internal creatives, artists, and external creators to develop high-performing short-form and long-form content.
- Build and maintain a creator content repository, organizing and cataloging UGC, influencer deliverables, and branded creator assets for ongoing company use.
- Act as a brand storyteller and community leader, bringing energy, authenticity, and passion for music into every post and interaction.
- Build and manage influencer programs and strategy, including outreach, negotiation, campaign execution, and performance reporting.
- Support and activate collaborations and brand partnerships that expand reach, credibility, and cultural relevance.
- Engage directly with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and community interactions in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams to support fully integrated 360° campaigns
- Manage marketing samples and product seeding for creators and partners.
- Track and report on performance metrics including growth, engagement, traffic, and conversion, translating insights into actionable optimizations.
- Contribute to budget planning and management, ensuring efficient use of resources across content, partnerships, and paid support.
- Potentially recruit, manage, and mentor a social media intern or internship program.
- Stay ahead of platform trends, digital behaviors, and cultural moments, translating them into timely and effective social executions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Abilities
- Deep expertise in social-first strategy development and execution, with a strong bias toward growth and performance
- Proven ability to rapidly grow audiences and engagement through creative, partnerships, and data-driven tactics
- Strong content creator mindset with the ability to concept, shoot, edit, and publish engaging content across platforms, including hands-on experience creating short-form video content optimized for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Deep understanding of digital platforms, content formats, audience behavior, and how music lovers discover and engage with content
- Sharp trend-spotting instincts with the ability to translate emerging platform behaviors and cultural moments into real-time, high-impact executions
- Strong creative instincts paired with a willingness to test, experiment, and iterate quickly
- Ability to translate broader marketing campaigns into high-performing social executions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimize strategy accordingly
- Experience managing budgets and allocating resources across content, partnerships, and paid support
- Strong project management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple brands and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an engaging, energetic brand voice
- Collaborative and cross-functional by nature, with strong relationship-building skills for influencer and partner engagement
- Community-first mindset with a genuine instinct for audience engagement and brand stewardship
- Authentic passion for music, culture, and storytelling — this should come through in everything you create and publish
- Familiarity with SEO, analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.), and basic design or video editing software (Photoshop, etc.) a plus
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field required. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of of degree.
- 4–6 years of direct experience in social media strategy, content creation, and creator management
- Portfolio of social content and/or campaigns required
- Proven track record of building and scaling social media presence, preferably for consumer brands
- Experience working with influencers, creators, and brand partnerships
- Experience managing multiple brands or audiences is a strong plus
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
