Snack Shop Attendant

The Bar Porter is responsible primarily for ensuring the bars are fully stocked. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift a moderate amount of weight. This is a fast paced position that will involve constant customer interaction.

Job Functions & Responsibilities:

• Provide a welcoming and clean environment for guests
• Greet guests promptly and courteously as they walk up to the snack bar
• Create a positive experience for all guests and exceed expectations when possible
• Follow Hyatt Standards in service
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
• Obtain and submit food & beverage orders from guests using POS system
• Adhere to all safety and health company requirements
• Ensure opening, ongoing, and closing side work is complete

• Assist in assembling food orders once prepared by the culinary team, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to guests

• Handle payments accurately using POS system

• Must be 18+ years old
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 25 pounds)
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
