🚀 We’re Hiring: SMT/AOI Machine Operator – Richardson, TX

We’re expanding our team and seeking a full‑time SMT/AOI Machine Operator to support advanced PCBA production and help keep our lines running at peak performance.

🔧 What You’ll Do

You’ll play a key role in ensuring our SMT lines operate smoothly, efficiently, and with exceptional quality. Your day‑to‑day will include:

  • Setting up, operating, and adjusting SMT and AOI equipment with minimal supervision
  • Running SPI/AOI systems to identify soldering and placement defects
  • Supporting SMT process equipment including solder paste printers, pick‑and‑place machines (Fuji preferred), reflow ovens, and marking systems
  • Keeping feeders and loaders stocked to maintain uninterrupted production
  • Monitoring machine rejects and ensuring proper sorting and re‑runs
  • Performing quality audits and basic troubleshooting to maintain high standards
  • Collaborating with production and quality teams to improve throughput and yield
  • Following all documented work instructions, safety procedures, and process guidelines
🛠️ What You Bring

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Hands‑on SMT production experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with AOI/SPI systems
  • Familiarity with SMT equipment used in PCBA manufacturing
  • Ability to read set‑up sheets and follow detailed work instructions
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for SMT and AOI equipment
  • A team‑oriented mindset and commitment to quality

  • Experience in high‑volume PCBA production
  • Experience as an SMT or AOI operator in a climate‑controlled facility
  • Familiarity with quality auditing and testing procedures

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richardson, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
