Slot Technician - Maverick Casino & Hotel Elko



A Slots Technician will be trained to make sure all the slot machines are maintained and operating properly and available to the public for play.



Pay range $19-$21/hr./ DOE



· Observe safety policies and procedures including but not limited to safe lifting, use of properly working machinery, etc.

· Monitor and maintain all equipment.

· Ability to perform corrective and preventive maintenance on slot machines and other slot department equipment.

· Approves slot vouchers for payouts and fills as requested.

· Must be able to keep Slot Manager and Lead Slot Technician up to date on any issues that may arise.

· Complies with all Nevada Gaming Control Board, departmental and company policies at all times.

· Maintain customer and business confidentiality.

· Safeguard company assets at all times.

· Title 31 training, re-training, and compliance.

· Management of supplies and work area necessary to complete work.

· Ensure professional communication with fellow employees.

· Performs related and/or other duties as required.

Requirements

· Be 21 years of age and High School graduate or GED

· Ability to obtain and maintain Nevada Gaming Control Board licensing.

· Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).

· Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy,follow through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum amount of supervision.

· Positive attitude, strong work ethic and neat/clean appearance.

· Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding.

· Punctuality and adherence to the company attendance standards.

· Honesty and Integrity

· Working knowledge of electronics and basic mechanical functionality.

· Knowledge of slot machine functions and operations.

· Basic understanding of slot machine repair/maintenance.

· Constant Safety Awareness Training (includes MSDS)
