Job Title: Sleep Technologist (Polysomnography)

Shift: 12-Hour Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

Equipment: Sleep Study Equipment, EPIC (Preferred)
Required Education & Certifications (Mandatory)
• GED or High School Diploma (REQUIRED) – Degree preferred
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) – REQUIRED
• Oregon Sleep Technologist License – REQUIRED
• BLS, ACLS, PALS Certifications – REQUIRED
Required Skills & Experience (Mandatory)
• Minimum 2+ years of Sleep Tech / Polysomnography experience (REQUIRED)
• Strong experience with AASM standards and sleep study protocols (REQUIRED)
• Experience with sleep study scoring and monitoring (REQUIRED)
• Compliance with monthly inter-scorer reliability training (REQUIRED)
• Ability to work independently in overnight clinical settings
• Strong patient monitoring and safety skills
• Experience with clinical documentation and workflow management
Preferred Skills
• Experience with EPIC charting system (PREFERRED)
• Experience in hospital or sleep lab settings
Project / Role Overview
This role supports a sleep lab environment, performing and monitoring polysomnography studies in accordance with AASM standards.
Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting overnight sleep studies and monitoring patient vitals
• Performing accurate scoring and data collection
• Ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards
• Maintaining documentation and reporting within EMR systems
• Supporting quality assurance through inter-scorer reliability programs
