Skilled Laborer – Construction

Pay: $18–$24 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Location: Commercial and office job sites

About the Role

We are seeking a Skilled Laborer to support the installation, assembly, and relocation of office furniture and equipment in commercial environments. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals with construction, installation, or general labor experience who take pride in quality workmanship and teamwork.

This role plays a key part in building functional office spaces by installing cubicles, desks, and workstations safely and accurately according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and assemble office furniture, cubicles, desks, and related components
  • Build and configure office layouts based on floor plans and project requirements
  • Disassemble, move, and reinstall existing furniture and fixtures
  • Reconfigure workstations to meet changing client needs
  • Safely lift, move, and position furniture and equipment on-site
  • Use hand tools and power tools for assembly and installation tasks
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety standards on job sites
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality, stability, and proper function
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and properly care for tools
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet project timelines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in construction, furniture installation, assembly, handyman work, or similar skilled labor roles
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
  • Strong installation skills, including accurate measurement and secure fastening
  • Ability to safely lift and move office furniture and equipment
  • Valid, clean state-issued driver’s license
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
  • OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain (company supported)
Preferred Experience
  • Commercial office furniture and cubicle installation
  • General or interior construction experience
  • Familiarity with sheetrock and light interior work
  • Ability to read basic floor plans or installation diagrams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability on job sites

Work Environment

This is a full-time, physically active role based in commercial and office environments. The position requires frequent use of hand and power tools, lifting and moving materials, and working closely with a field team to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Pay and Benefits
