We’re partnering with a well-established contractor to find an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee a range of commercial builds including mixed-use, industrial, retail, and multi-unit developments.
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys being on-site, driving progress, and ensuring projects run smoothly from kick-off through completion.
🔨Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day site activity and coordinate trades and suppliers
• Champion site safety and ensure compliance with industry regulations
• Interpret drawings and schedules to keep work aligned with project milestones
• Work closely with design teams and project stakeholders to address challenges
• Monitor progress, maintain site records, and provide regular updates
• Carry out quality checks and ensure high standards are met
• Lead site teams and subcontractors to maintain productivity and morale
• Keep projects on schedule and within budget targets
🎯What We’re Looking For:
• Background in commercial construction with several years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and site operations
• Familiarity with local compliance, permits, and inspection processes
• Confident leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multiple trades
• Effective communicator with solid problem-solving ability
• Comfortable using construction management tools and software
• Relevant safety certifications are advantageous
