Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (OT available)

Job Description:

Work with a leading supplier of building materials. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Truss Builder to join our production team. In this role, you will assist in building roof trusses and wall panels for residential and commercial construction projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

•Assemble trusses and wall panels by placing parts in specific relationships

•Fasten materials using bolts, clips, screws, cement, and power tools

•Cut materials to precise measurements using hand and power tools

•Remove defective products to maintain quality standards

•Operate and tend machinery on the production line

•Rotate between workstations as production needs change

•Maintain a clean and safe work environment

•Follow written work instructions and safety procedures

•Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

•Minimum 6 months’ experience using hand and/or power tools

•Ability to read a tape measure and follow work instructions

•Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)

•Ability to stand, walk, and lift 25–50 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs occasionally)

•Comfortable working in a fast-paced, repetitive production environment

•Prior carpentry or construction experience is a plus, but not required

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shoreview, MN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Shoreview,MN.
