Shipping Coordinator | 1st Shift | $20 - $24/hr
Job Description
As a Shipping Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing data entry within the shipping department, managing customer purchase orders, and verifying the quantity, part number, and router on all shipments. You will schedule LTL pickups according to customer specifications and prepare and print bills of lading. Additionally, you will coordinate UPS/FedEx shipments for smaller packages, prepare and apply labels/barcodes for specific customers, and request material certification numbers if missing. You will also count inbound parts from third parties, clock jobs upon completion, assist in loading and unloading trailers, and adhere to all safety rules and company ISO procedures, including quality processes and policies.

Work Environment
This position operates during the day shift from 7 am to 4 pm, with an unpaid lunch break from 12 to 1, Monday through Friday. The role is based in a Columbia shop, where you may occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The warehouse is not temperature controlled, so you will experience high heat and cold. Additionally, the environment can be noisy.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
