The Shipping Clerk supports logistics and daily operations by preparing, packaging, labeling, and documenting outgoing shipments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This contract role runs approximately 6–8 weeks, with the possibility of extension or long-term opportunity, and operates on a first-shift schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The position is primarily office-based with frequent interaction with the production and warehouse teams to ensure accurate, timely, and well-organized shipments. Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing facility that designs and produces heavy equipment attachments and coupler systems for excavators and wheel loaders. Work takes place primarily in an office setting using computers and internal systems to manage shipping data, with regular interaction in adjacent production and warehouse areas where finished goods are staged and prepared for shipment. The environment is fast paced and safety focused, supporting demanding industrial operations across construction, aggregates, steel mills, mining, and industrial applications. Steel-toe boots are required as part of the standard safety attire when in production and warehouse areas, and you will work a consistent first-shift schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
