Shipping and Receiving Clerk

• Receive, verify, and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy of items against purchase orders and packing slips
• Prepare outgoing shipments by carefully packaging, labeling, and documenting materials for transport
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and tracking software
• Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues immediately
• Organize and maintain the shipping and receiving area to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient workspace
• Process shipping documentation including bills of lading, manifests, and delivery receipts
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to maintain a secure work environment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
• Proficiency with computers and warehouse management software
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Basic math skills for inventory counting and verification
