Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at our Baton Rouge, LA location. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for handling shipping and receiving operations, including packing and processing shipments, managing inventory, operating equipment such as pallet jacks, and documenting received goods. The role also involves maintaining an organized warehouse environment and effectively communicating with team members and vendors to ensure accurate and efficient processes.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Shipping & Receiving tasks, including processing and inspecting shipments
  • Experience with Packing materials and preparing products for shipment
  • Familiarity with operating tools and equipment
  • Knowledge of Inventory Control practices to ensure accurate recordkeeping
  • Strong Communication skills to engage with team members and vendors effectively
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role is a plus
