The Sheriff's Department is recruiting for a Sheriff's Electronic Health Records Trainer* who is responsible for planning, coordinating, assessing, and delivering advanced level educational and training programs related to electronic health records systems (TechCare) to correctional healthcare staff. Essential duties include recommending, developing, and conducting training needs assessments; developing curriculum, lesson plans, EHR workflows, and training materials; developing and delivering training programs; and preparing and coordinating training schedules.

Experience:Three (3) years full-time equivalent professional-level experience with primary responsibility utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
The ideal candidate will have a valid California Vocational Nurse license, a Certified Correctional Health Professional certification, five (5) or more years of clinical experience as an LVN within a correctional healthcare setting, and professional experience training staff in TechCare, CIPS, and JimsNet.Examination Procedure:There will be a competitive evaluationof qualifications based on the information provided in the Application and the Supplemental Questionnaire.
