Description and Responsibilities

Open Sky’s Shared Living is a DDS funded program which serves 60 adults of all ages by offering individuals with disabilities the opportunity, sharing of responsibilities and benefits of living in a family environment in the community. The programs providers, or caregivers, gain the satisfaction of knowing they are helping someone to develop the tools to live a meaningful and satisfying life with individualized case management and nursing supports.

The Division Director will be responsible for the oversight of the Shared Living program, including supervising and evaluating the team of Program Coordinators, Registered Nurses, Clinicians, the Placement Specialist and the Assistant Director. They will also work collaboratively with Human Resources to ensure the recruitment and retention of qualified, well-trained staff and oversee the marketing, referral, matching and transition process in collaboration with the Placement Specialist.

Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the learning culture of the team based on the agency and Shared Living values.
  • Collaboratewithinternalcounterpartsto ensure quality servicesand support are delivered across the organization.
  • Participate in state-wide Shared Living, community initiatives and special projects.
  • Provide on-call coverage within the IDD Outreach Division.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.

  • Minimum of three years of experience working in human service management, required.

  • Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving history, required.
